Fragility of Belonging: Bridging the Gaps

The fourth edition of the popular statelessness forum is themed on how state fragility and shortcomings in governance lead to unpredictable, persistent, and widespread gaps in security, stability, protection, and belonging, including mass statelessness. The event aims to examine these gaps and chart a course of action to address them, centering ground-level expertise.

SAF(E) immerses participants in learning about statelessness from different perspectives, placing special emphasis on expertise of those have direct experience of statelessness. The forum closely engages participants with leading experts on statelessness, using a diverse range of formats, including lectures, workshops, panel discussions, informal learning, and networking. Everyone is welcome, regardless of their level of prior knowledge of the topic.
